Travel guides by country
Nine countries told in depth: before you go, what to see, what to eat and what nobody tells you.
All of this travels with you too: in the Ezplora app you build the itinerary, split costs with your group and keep your packing list and documents on your phone.
The magazine is: the guides, each city's weather, the distances and the quiz are free, with no sign-up. The app has a 7-day free trial; after that it costs $1 per travel day, so a 10-day trip is $10.
Where does the information in the guides come from?
The hard data comes from the World Bank, GeoNames and WorldClim; the photos from Wikipedia. The judgement and the advice we write by hand, country by country.
What languages are the guides in?
In Spanish and English, both written by hand, not machine-translated.
How often are they updated?
The hard data is regenerated from the sources with every release. The text is revised when something that matters changes: a visa, a price, a season.
Does it work without internet?
The guides load in under a second and weigh very little. In the app, whatever you've already opened can be viewed offline and the map keeps the areas you've already looked at; creating or changing anything needs a connection.
How does the app build my itinerary?
With your destination, your dates and what you like (history, beaches, food, nightlife…) it builds a day-by-day draft, with morning, lunch, afternoon and dinner. It's a starting point: then you move, add or delete whatever you want.
